Read golden records through the API
Read mastered Golden records through the API, including contributing records, presentation metadata, and resolution outcomes.
A golden record is the mastered representation produced when records have been resolved as the same subject. Its values follow the configured merger, while the expanded record response can expose the contributing records needed for review.
For the review workflow, see Read mastered records and history. A data view controls presentation; the API exposes that view alongside record data for clients that render it.
Inspect a record through the API
Use the table record endpoint and request expanded information:
curl --fail-with-body --silent --show-error \
--header "Authorization: Bearer ${GOLDEN_TOKEN}" \
"${GOLDEN_URL}/api/tables/sample_customer/records/CRM-0001?type=TABLE&expanded=true"
The response identifies the table and record. Depending on configuration and record state, it can also include:
- contributing records in
merged; - dataset and column descriptions; and
- the resolved
viewfor presentation.
Verify the result
Compare the mastered values with merged contributors and the configured merger.
After a correction, read the record again and repeat the check after the next
scheduled flow. Follow the investigation workflow
before applying a duplicate decision.
