Install Aurelia Utilities
Prepare a learning environment, install the sample, and verify that its initial task completes.
Install Aurelia Utilities to explore data quality, search, and duplicate review in Trazadera Golden. The sample represents a fictional residential energy retailer with customer records from a CRM and a billing system.
The sample includes synthetic records and configuration. It contains no real customer data. Use a non-production environment for the exercises.
Before you begin
| Item | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Role | ADMIN. Settings is administrator-only |
| Environment | Non-production. The installation writes several hundred records |
| Execution | Background task; follow its status until completion |
Set GOLDEN_URL to the assigned service URL and GOLDEN_ADMIN_TOKEN to an | |
| administrator credential before using the API commands. |
Install the sample
- Open Administration and select Settings.
- Find Aurelia Utilities under Sample projects. Its status reads Not installed.
- Select Install.
- Follow the task under Administration → Tasks until it reaches
SUCCEEDED.
Golden confirms: “The sample aurelia-utilities is being installed. Follow its
progress under Administration, Tasks.”
To start the installation through the API:
curl --fail-with-body --silent --show-error \
--request POST \
--header "Authorization: Bearer ${GOLDEN_ADMIN_TOKEN}" \
"${GOLDEN_URL}/api/samples/aurelia-utilities/install"
{
"run": {"id": "a246c036-5791-4a60-8ea4-96823077a4a1", "status": "PENDING"},
"sampleId": "aurelia-utilities",
"messages": ["The installation of the sample aurelia-utilities was scheduled"]
}
The shortened response contains the queued run, not the installation result.
Read its run.id and follow it with GET /api/jobs/runs/{id} until status is SUCCEEDED. The
installation creates the resources, the tables, and the entity, uploads the two
CSV exports, and then runs the load, the indexing, and the classification.
Use GET /api/samples to list the available samples and their installation status.
Verify the installed result
Confirm sample-customer-entity is READY, holds 378 customer records and
reports 245 duplicate groups. Open Quality. For the unmodified Aurelia
Utilities 1.0.0 sample, the installation measurement shows:
- 378 records included out of 378;
- average quality 88.25, with scores from 71 to 93;
- 17 records with errors and 361 with warnings only.
Picture shown identifies the installation measurement and its actual time. It appears as On demand because it was taken during installation rather than at a daily close. The saved label follows the installation language. There is no need to wait for a scheduled snapshot.
If another measurement has been taken since installation, use Change to select the installation row and Show this picture to display it. If no initial measurement exists, inspect the installation run’s messages before continuing the quality walkthrough.
